Measure, collect and record rain fall with a deluxe rain gauge featuring a sturdy and stylish glass tube, with measurements printed in centimetres and inches for easy recording. The beautiful design enhances the outdoor space, making the set a stylish and functional addition to any garden. Simply slide the glass tube in the allocated slot and face forward. Size may be adjusted to suit garden. Full size measures 90cm. To measure the amount of rainfall, the measurement on the tube will need to be recorded at regular intervals. To do so, note the water level (ie every morning, every 8-24 hours etc.) to collect data. Note: The water may evaporate during the day or during warmer months, and can affect the data being collected. This can be avoided by adding a thin layer of oil to the water. The oil will float on top of the water and prevent evaporation.
