Self Service Password Reset (SSPR) FAQs
When should I use SSPR?
You should only use SSPR if you have forgotten your password. It should not be used to reset your password if it is expiring and needs to be changed.
Can I use SSPR if I don’t have a smartphone?
SSPR requires the use of the Microsoft Authenticator app. Without a smartphone an app cannot be installed and SSPR will not be available for you to use.
Is registration compulsory?
Registration is not compulsory but highly encouraged!
Can I reset all my passwords via SSPR?
No, you can only reset the password of your primary login account. This is the account you use to access ourpost or complete training. SSPR cannot be used to reset secondary accounts such as EIS or ADM accounts.
Why are Australia Post enabling this feature?
Using SSPR is a faster and more secure method to reset a forgotten password. After verifying your identity via the Microsoft Authenticator app and an SMS, the password reset can be fulfilled quickly. SSPR also has built in security features to protect it from misuse.

1. What are we doing?
Payslips are going digital. If you currently receive a paper payslip you will receive a form and have an opportunity to select your preference on how you would like to receive your payslip moving forward.
The options are:
- Via email (work or personal)
- OurPost
You can already access your digital payslip via OurPost at any time on any device.
It only takes a few minutes to register your preference.
2. Why are we doing this?
Each fortnight we print and distribute over 19,000 paper payslips, using 1M pieces of paper annually. Making all our payslips digital not only makes environmental sense (we will save 119 trees a year), it also makes sense from a security and financial perspective.
3. If I want to see my payslip on OurPost or at a Kiosk, how do I do this?
It is easy. You jump on to OurPost and click on “OurPost Dashboard”. From there you can click on My Self Service and click My Payslips under My Pay, which will allow you to view your payslip any time.
4. How do I register to get my payslip sent to an email?
You can register to have your payslip sent to your email:
Complete this form to select a preference to have it sent to any email (work or personal).
5. When will this start?
We anticipate by the end of March 2021 all payslips will be digital.
6. Where is this happening?
This is happening across the Australia Post group.
7. What happens if I don’t have a computer or phone to access my digital payslip?
We know that the majority of you have been able to interact with us via digital channels, but if you work at a facility with a kiosk you can also access your payslip there when you want to check it.
8. Will you pay for my personal phone data to get my payslips on my personal phone?
No, we are not able to pay for data on your personal phone.
9. What happens if I want a print my digital payslip?
You can easily print off your payslip when you view it on OurPost or if you get it emailed. It is easy to print it out at any printer you can access.
Alternatively, you can ask your leader if they can print it out directly.
10. What happens if I register for digital payslips but then I don’t like it and would prefer to get a hard copy again instead?
We anticipate that the option of receiving a hardcopy payslip centrally is not being offered after March 2021.
If you require a hard copy then you can print one yourself via OurPost or email.
11. Where do I register?
You will receive a form asking for your preference on how you want to view your payslips moving forward.
All Australia Post staff can automatically see their payslip via OurPost. In fact, you will find all of your historical payslips that have been produced via our SAP payroll system here.
To register to get your payslip emailed to you directly you can
12. What happens if I don’t remember my account to access Pay & leave via OurPost?
All Australia Post employees will automatically have sign in details to Pay & leave on OurPost, but if you have forgotten call MyIT on 132 131 and they will help reset the details for you.
