Once registered, you will receive a fortnightly email invitation to upcoming webinars.
Passionate about health and wellbeing? Here are three ways to get involved and support your teammates.
1. Become a Health and Wellbeing Champion
Our Health and Wellbeing Champions help build interest and involvement in site-based health and wellbeing activities from our Health and Wellbeing Calendar. They encourage healthy work behaviours and point people to the right support when appropriate like our specialised EAP/WAP services and the resources on this page.
As a Champion, you’ll receive quarterly updates from the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team and you can bring wellbeing moments into toolbox talks and team meetings in a way that suits your site.
What you’ll need
- An interest in health and wellbeing and improving the work environment
- A friendly, approachable style and willingness to help
- Willing to stay up to date via Viva Engage and the Health, Safety and Wellbeing newsletter
- Confidence to encourage simple healthy habits (in a practical way)
- A work email address to receive Champion updates and newsletters
When you register, please include your name, work location and business unit.
2. Complete the “Thriving Minds” eLearning
You can also complete the “Thriving Minds” eLearning in your MyLearning Dashboard. It’s a practical course that helps you:
- look after your mental health
- support teammates who may be experiencing poor mental health
- help create a mentally healthy workplace.
3. Engage in additional training and upskilling
Want to go a step further? Explore additional training that’s relevant to your role or business unit. Have a chat with your people leader about what’s right for you as this might be something to add to your development plan and apply in your day-to-day work.
Wellbeing action plan
Not sure where to start? It can feel like a big task to make a plan to improve your mental wellbeing. But it's actually as easy as identifying what works for you. Then building on those actions to strengthen your mental wellbeing. Use Beyond Blue's Wellbeing Action Tool - Beyond Blue
