Mental health support
We care about creating mentally healthy workplaces. Good mental health is important for you to be able to do your job and to enjoy a happy lifestyle.
Mental health is an important part of your overall wellbeing, just like physical health. It’s about feeling well, coping with everyday challenges, and being able to take part in work and community life. Support is available, and we encourage you to reach out whenever you need it.
Explore the resources below to learn how to look after your mental wellbeing.
Resources available to you
Your manager is a good first point of contact. Managers are there to listen and help connect you with appropriate support.
Practical tip sheets are also available, including Mental health – A guide for employees and Early warning signs of mental ill health and how to respond tip sheet.
If further guidance is needed on people-related matters and HR support, team members and people leaders can contact People Services on 1300 116 947 or People Services Portal
At any point, you can also access free, confidential support through EAP/WAP at any time. Specialist consultants can help with everyday pressures, work–life balance, and overall wellbeing, not just when something is wrong. You can contact EAP through the following channels:
EAP phone 1300 687 327 or book online: EAP Provider Australia | Converge (Our organisation code is AUSPOST) or email: customerservice@convergeintl.com.au. For more information about EAP/WAP and how it can support you, visit Employee & Workforce Assistance Program - Australia Post
Manager Support through EAP 1300 687 327. A confidential coaching and advisory service for people leaders to seek support and advice for managing your team.
Support following a crisis
A critical incident such as that which occurred at Bondi Beach on 14th December 2025 can have a profound impact on team members across our enterprise - including those who were directly affected, those with family or community connections to the incident, and others who may be impacted through repeated media exposure. Responses to these shocking events vary. Some people may experience shock, fear, grief or heightened anxiety, while others may feel unsettled or distressed without being able to clearly identify why.
We want to ensure all team members have access to the support they need after a critical incident. This includes access to resources, professional support, as well as leave and flexible working arrangements, where appropriate.
Support can be arranged through your manager or team members can access free and confidential support through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
If you're a leader, access resources to support your team after a critical incident incident.
