Australia Post Digital iD™ App closing - effective 1 May 2026

From Friday 1 May 2026 the Australia Post Digital iD™ App will be closed. Customers will no longer be able to use the app for verification or proof of age purposes (online or in-person). This includes the Digital Keypass.

Changes to purchasing gift cards – effective 26 January 2026

From Monday 26 January 2026, third-party gift cards will no longer be sold via the Australia Post online shop. Gift cards are still available for purchase at participating Australia Post outlets. 

Changes to our insurance products

From 1 September 2025, we will no longer offer new policies for car, home, contents and landlord insurance. Policy renewals and NSW CTP Green Slip insurance will remain available until further notice.

Changes to Online Shop product range – effective 12 February 2025

From 12 February 2025, we're prioritising our core range of products to ensure we are meeting the needs of our customers. This will mean some product ranges will no longer be available online but still be available at participating Post Offices.

Please be aware of potential scams involving Gift Cards, which are often made via phone call or email.

Note: we would never ask for payment in the form of a Gift Card.

REDcycle soft plastic recycling no longer available

As REDcycle have ceased operations due to challenges in the recycling network, our customers are no longer able to recycle their used plastic satchels via REDcycle bins.
