1 Our regular parcel service delivers in an estimated 2+ business days. Delivery times will vary depending on lodgement and destination points. View delivery speeds and coverage for sending within Australia.

2 Parcel Post and Express Post services come with up to $100 compensation included in certain circumstances. Additional charges apply for Extra Cover. Extra Cover provides you with cover for the specified value of your item (up to $5,000 or part thereof) if your item is lost or damaged while being carried by Australia Post. Visit optional extras for more information. 

Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, Australia Post does not accept liability for any consequential or indirect loss or damage arising due to any failure related to our service. Neither the compensation included with our service nor the purchase of Extra Cover limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

4 Next business day delivery is only available within the Express Post next business day delivery network. The national next business day delivery network operates between capital cities (excluding Darwin; and for Perth, delivery into the CBD only) and some major centres. Express eParcel is not covered in the Express Post guarantee.

5 On Demand services are available on business days within specific geographical areas of Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney – where both the parcel collection point and the delivery address are within the same city. Manifest of On Demand Aafternoon, Ttonight and Saturday services must occur no later than 1 hour prior to collection time.

6 Terms and conditions apply (PDF 178 kB). The service is only available for deliveries to an address that is accessible and to a requested delivery location where it is safe to leave parcels. 

7 Next business day delivery is only available within the defined premium network. The national next business day delivery network operates between capital cities (excluding Darwin; and for Perth, delivery into the CBD only) and some major centres. Express eParcel is not covered in the Express Post guarantee.

8 Tracking events will vary depending on how your item is lodged and delivered. For more information speak to your Account Manager.

9 Excludes delivery on Christmas Day (25 December), except for eligible customers with eligible movements (e.g. emergency medical consign). 

10 Estimated delivery times apply between metro areas of major cities for items classified as low value and low risk that are pre-cleared through customs. Delivery time excludes time in customs if applicable and may be subject to delay due to causes outside of Australia Post’s control. 11 Additional charges apply for some services. Signature on Delivery is not available in all countries. For more information, check our International post guide.

13 Our services generally come with up to $100 compensation included. Additional charges apply for Extra Cover.
