Today is Australia Post’s busiest day of the year – and we’re delivering for Australia!
We’re on track to deliver over 3 million parcels nationally today alone, as Australians continue to shop online in record numbers.
Online retailers and consumers are sending more this year, with volumes up about 5% so far this Peak. After a record breaking 2024 Peak - this season is shaping up to be another huge one! Favourites like specialty food and liquor, health and beauty, and hobbies and recreational goods are flying out the door.
If you’re sending gifts to loved ones, here are the key dates to keep in mind:
📦 Parcel Post: Friday 19 December (most destinations within Australia)
🚀 Express Post: Tuesday 23 December
✉️ Letters and cards: Tuesday 16 December for interstate deliveries
