The festive season means more parcels - and unfortunately, more scams. Stay vigilant, scammers are posing as buyers and sending links to fake ‘Australia Post courier service’ websites designed to steal personal and financial information.
Our advice:
📱 Download the official AusPost app and turn on push notifications for secure tracking.
🙅 Australia Post will never ask for passwords, payment info, or personal details via phone, text, or email.
⛔️ Never click on suspicious links in messages or emails.
We’re also seeing advanced phishing scams like the global ‘Darcula’ operation, which can slip past traditional security filters. Stay safe by tracking parcels only through official channels.
