How does Santa get my letter?

Ho, ho, hurry to hand your letter to one of our friendly Post Office team members and you’ll receive Santa’s reply, right then and there. Just like magic! Plus, a little something for your tree. Available from Monday 3 November until 24 December, while stock lasts.

How to write your letter to Santa

You can write your letter to Santa any way you want! But if you’re scratching your head and need a little magic spark, here are some tips to get you started.

  • Write a letter, wishlist or drawing - every message is special to Santa. And remember, you don’t need to send him a gift.
  • Use your favourite pens, pencils, textas, paper or stickers.

No need to post your letter to Santa

That’s because one of the Australia Post team members in your local Post Office will hand you Santa’s reply on the spot. So you don’t need to post your letter and no stamp is required.

Santa Mail dates

Hand deliver your letter in-store from Monday 3 November until Tuesday 24 December 2025, to receive Santa’s letter and gift, while stock lasts.
