Delivery services

| Charity mail | If you’re a registered charity, you may be able to access reduced postage rates when sending bulk mail. |
| Special delivery for remote areas | Australia Post offers special rates if you are sending medical or education materials to select remote areas in Australia (up to 5kg). |
| Free 12-month mail redirection for special circumstances | In special circumstances, we offer free mail redirection (up to 12 months) for deceased estates caretakers, victims of natural disasters and victims of domestic violence. |
| Free PO Box for victims of domestic violence | Family and domestic violence is the biggest cause of homelessness in Australia. To help stay connected, there are one-off options of free PO Box access for up to 23 months. |
| Local country letters | If you live or carry on business in select local country areas in Australia, you may be eligible for special rates when sending at least 10 letters at a time. For more information, download the Post Charges Guide (PDF 1.2MB). |
| Local country parcels | If you live or work in select local country areas in Australia, you may be eligible for special rates when you lodge a parcel at the same office that will deliver it. For more information, download the Post Charges Guide (PDF 1.2MB). |
| Mail for the blind service | Australia Post delivers eligible items free of charge within Australia and via international sea mail to vision-impaired individuals or organisations who service the needs of blind people. |
| Mail for defence personnel | To support our defence personnel both within Australia and overseas, Australia Post offers reduced rates of postage depending on the address. |

Please note, lodging a Victoria Working With Children’s Check is only available at participating Post Offices. |
| Working with Children Check, Western Australia | Volunteers, unpaid people and students on unpaid placements may be eligible for a reduced fee to apply for a WA Working With Children’s Check. For more information about applying for a Working With Children’s Check, contact the Government of Western Australia or visit workingwithchildren.wa.gov.au. Please note, lodging a Western Australia Working With Children’s Check is only available at participating Post Offices. |
